What in the name of god is happening to firefox?

All of the images it is displaying look around 25 percent larger than they should, and because of this jaggies are everywhere! to make it worse, any website that relies on frames/tables falls over because of it!

It has only just happened today, and IE 7 loads everything fine. Even overclockers logo on the top left looks ugly, as does the usual advert they have in the top right corner, they look stretched and pixelated!

Anyone with ideas?

have you installed any extensions/themes recently that might have caused this. i assume you have cleared all your temp files/history/cookies? :)

if the problem persists, try closing firefox and use the start menu shortcut to start firefox in safe mode. if safe mode works, it means your profile is stuffed. you'll have to delete it which means you'll lose your settings (remember to backup bookmarks, make a note of any extensions you'll need to download again etc). you can do this by going to start, run, type in

%appdata%\mozilla

and delete the firefox folder. :)

Some zoom extension that's enabled?
It doesn't do it (by default), but try changing the text size back to default (Ctrl-0). Try safe mode.

You won't. Just create a new profile using the profile manager, and set it to default. That way you can migrate your passwords and bits across.

Hmmm, sorry guys I got this working last night before I checked back in the morning.

Firefox's config file had died, (corrupted) but luckily the bookmarks where ok, so I literally just renamed the old config file to 1, and then restarted firefox and it auto created a new one, and it seems to be fine :)
