Just got back from A+E in Liverpool, broken my foot...LOL!!

I jumped of my wagon to start running some stock in and I must have landed funny, struggled on, but got back in the wagon to drive to the next drop and that was it, couldn't put any pressure on my foot at all...

Phoned work at 11am, mentioned it and said I had to go A+E, they had a van come get me with a spare driver aswell to take over my run, got to A+E about 12.30, and was there for what seemed like a year, left there about 5pm and now sat at home with a broken foot. LOL

Just thought I would amuse you :)
 
Haha, unlucky :D

My record in A&E for an x-ray and diagnosis is well over 8 hours on a Sunday night. Count yourself lucky!
 
I feel your pain :(

Managed to break two metatarsals a couple of years ago and needed them pinned. Hope you have a speedy recovery :)

Edit. It wasn't pins they used but screws and when it was time to remove them it was done under local anesthetic. Couldn't feel anything but still not a nice experience!

Do not worry my lad, I just went out bare footed to put something into the recycling bin and stepped in poo. I can only guess it being cat faeces. Disgusting!

I have to keep off it, it is a hairline fracture near my toes, need to wait 72 hours for swelling to go down and go to my local hospital.

I am still in work, just doing office work, needless to say the boss is picking me up and dropping me off until I am healed...
