Purchased a 4080 from here and the fans make a very odd noise at any level, it sounds like coil whine or a fridge humming but I know its not coil whine from using msi afterburner, from 0 rpm in the desktop I set it to the min of 30% which is around 1100 and it starts as soon as the fans start spinning, changing the fan speed does not seem to change the pitch or make it any better, its quite audible, seems to be all 3 of them making the noise, I sit 7ft away from my tv. Never used gainward before so not sure if its just their build quality or what. Nothing is blocking or obstructing the fans and they look to be sitting flush from what I can see.

It may be because they use ball bearing fans.
I had a similar issue with my Zotac 4090, and it’s just how they are.
How loud is yours though, mine is very loud even at 1100rpm standing over 9ft away, not sure if you are able to watch that video I posted, does yours sound like that?

It's hard to tell from your video, but for me it sounds like ball bearing fans.
I returned 2 4090's because I thought it was a problem, but in the end just got used to it, and now I don't even notice it.
