Just got one of these and have a quick question, the card has a PCI-X connector (at least thats what it looks like) & an adaptor that splits it into 2 molex type connectors. The question is can I use a PCI-X Cable from my Tagan power supply bypassing this molex adaptor altogether.

I dont want to try it obviously with a 300 quid card but would make things a little tidier if it does work so would like to know

Thanks in advance

Yes you can do without the molex-PCI-E adapter, since your PSU comes with the correct cabling that is what I would use :)

Nice one cheers, I thought that was the case but didnt want to risk it before knowing for sure

Im tempted to get a new PSU for this very card, because with all the problems, that adaptor might be one of them, even though I dont really have £70 for the privilage. I know I could get cheaper, but I prefer Tagan as that has never let me down
