Gainward 8800GT

I got mine when they were new. It still runs great and runs crysis on high at 1680x1050 on my system ( specs in sig ) really well and very playable.

Runs Age of Conan at max setting at same res just fine, 30fps usually which is damn good for that game. The fan is quiet and the card runs fairly cool ive found , but i do have a big well ventilated case.

I got an 'OEM' version about 5 weeks back for the same price out of the B grade/Sale section. Mine wasn't listed as B grade so I guess they just had a couple, now they've got more.

Good thing about these is they run cooler than most single slot versions and you can easily remove (4 screws) the black plastic part which can end up crushing some SATA cables on certain motherboards. Like the P5K Premium, some of the connectors would be ok but the others you'd struggle to get a cable in.

I was going to watercool mine and offer the cooler to my bro, his BFG OC2 whines like anything. This isn't quite the reference board from what I've read but the main components (GPU/RAM) look to be in the normal place. However I'm not sure mine is stable yet. I seem to get some random crashes (in game and some from desktop) since I installed it. I've taken my CPU overclock off and put things at stock. I'm gonna try with the new drivers and maybe some older ones before I try my old card again (7900GTO).
