Gainward BLISS GeForce 7800 GS+ Low Stock Mem Clock?

Hi all!

i've just purchased a Gainward BLISS GeForce 7800 GS+ and installed it into my system last night, i've installed the latest Nvidia drivers and Rivatuner.

the problem i'm having is that rivatuner is saying that my default clock settings for this card are 450 core 625mem...now the core clock seems correct but the mem clock seems to be half what the card is stated to do straight outta the box!

also riva tuner will only let the mem clock go up to 950mhz and on this very site it is stated that this card can achieve 1440mhz easily

Am i missing something obvious or is the card knackered?

You double it mate. The 625 is 1250 and for the Love of God do not put it @ 940 as it will be 1880 and will Explode.
And NO i am Not kidding.

Search these boards for all relevent threads it makes good reading and has all the info you need. Just search for 7800GS+.

I got one last week by the way. It was like injecting Adrenalin directly into my system.

BTW.
If you want to clock it and void your warranty it should safely go to 495/715.
