Hi Guys
I justpurchased an gainward g430 @1024 gb
Ive followed the installation instructions to the letter but Im having no joy with it.

Im running vista on an acer m3201 quad core with 4 gb ram and a new 750w power supply.

I tried both the cd and the net to download but as soon as it loads the files to the desktop the installer starts without giving me an option to custom install, and it goes straight into nvidia installer failed.
Ive been at it now for 4 days.
Windows said it installed the driver but as soon as I restart I get a bluescreen and an error 19 (registry ) report when I take the card out.

I really dont want to send the card back but Im going to give it one more da of trying then its off to ati for different driver package.
Any ideas or help would be appretiated.

I wouldn't of thought a driver installation would fail because of a faulty card. Doesn't make sense.

I dont think its the card Its def the software nvidia and gainward are using Ive googled it and so may people are having problems now its beyond a joke.
the only difference is they are getting options on the installer and can do a workaround where Im getting nothing but an automatic start and straight to fail.

The overclockers gods must have heard my prayers
I downloaded psysx on its own shutdown installed the card and after a few mins of a start up everything worked no bsod
Then I installed expertool and now I have control over everything
Yeaaaaay
