Gainward - Underrated? (3DMark06 SS Enclosed)

Hey folks,

I have a Gainward 8800GT Golden Sample

It comes clocked at fairly standard 8800GT speeds (650/1950), however, I have overclocked it to what I think is pretty impressive, certainly for air cooling on the 8800GT.


I have overclocked it to;

Core 725mhz
Shader 1812mhz
Memory 2140mhz


Idles at about 46-48degrees

And reached peak of 62degrees under load.

Now the card itself comes standard with an aftermarket cooler, so Gainward obviously know it's clockable, but this is the result on the 3dmark06;

Very impressive card for those considering the 8800GT still...
