I always thought it was my fans, until I was working in the machine one day and noticed it was definitely coming from the pump.
A high pitched whine. Not too loud, but a pitch that just pierces your skull!
I managed to improve it by reducing pump RPM from 3000 to 1900 but it still returns intermittently. I also get the odd intermittent water/gargling noise.
The rad is positioned above the pump, so I don't think it's anything to do with that.
Is there anything I can do or is it an RMA job?
