I just wanted to tell you guys about a online browser game I've started playing again recently as I was hoping to drum up a few more players for it. It's completely free and I am in no way profitting from this, it's just sad to see so few playing what can be a fun game when lots of people are playing. Below is a quick in game description then I will go into a bit more detail after.
Galaxies Ablaze provides a real time hourly tick-based virtual universe where you can test yourself against other players around the world in the battle for universal domination! The game runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and your planet grows, people can attack you, even wars can happen, whether you are online or not. Are you up to the challenge??
Build AAV's, Dragoon 'Shock Troops' and Intergalactic Starfighters in this free text based browser game. Build a mighty Empire and Dominate the Universe, and if that fails build a nuke or two and light up the bad guys.
Back in the day when I first started playing it every round would have 400-500 people playing but now it's struggling to hit 30-40. The description above gives a rough idea as to the game but it's a free text based browser game where you build your own planet and essentially vie to be the strongest in the universe. Every planet is part of a larger system who act as your team mates. Assualt, raid, plunder, nuke or sabotage your way to the top both individually and as a team. Build up upgrade your troops and buildings, rob and sabotage your enemies to get ahead and if that fails then launch a few nukes at them!
The game doesn't require you to be on a great deal as you can queue most things for up to 12-14 hours in advance, but like hattrick, the more time you spend on there the better chance you will have.
If anyone is interested then just google Galaxies Ablaze (not sure if I'm allowed to link to the website) and have a quick read through the game help manual. It's looks complicated but is really simple to pick up and you can essentially play to whatever strategy you like. If you do sign up then give me a message in game or in this thread and I will help you out the best I can. My planet is Krypton in Galaxy 1:2
Look forward to hopefully seeing some new faces
