Galaxy Glacier shutting down on me? Please help . .

As per thread title I have a 6800GT pre fitted with an artic rev, and today I'v had the highest temps ever on this pc, due to my room being so damn warm!

I'v just been running HDR IBL which is stressing the graphics card and after about 20 mins of running/stressing the card the highest temps have 81 @ full load (And ambient scorches at 65 mark!). At idle it's roughly 64 with an ambient temp of 47. This is about 10 degrees over usual weather.

Today during a session of Counter Strike and whilst running this test, both of my tft's showed some fuzzy lines before they turned off. Is this the graphics card shutting off?

Correct me if I'm wrong but 81 at Max load isn't where I should 'really' worried, should I?

CPU is at 48 under max load.

I'm due to sell this rig very soon and I'd appreciate any hlep please!

It is *abit* high, won't damage the hardware tho.

Can you reduce the temps, force fan speeds in rivatuner??

My brothers Galaxy 6800GT was doing this,in the end it turned out that the factory fitted Artic Silencer was clogged up with dust & fluff.Cleaned it out and all is fine now......it would be worth checking yours

Fan speeds are pretty high afaik.

I recently cleaned it out, so that's not the problem

I upgraded to new drivers and I'v just been stressing it for well over an hour under warmer conditions and it's been rock solid
