My Galaxy S has been repaired, it had a faulty main board, sent it away and they replaced the mainboard. The thing is, before the problem I had the 8GB version and after i now have the 16GB version :D but now I think there may be a problem with my battery as when I charge it, it seems to drain the battery to fast.

I have no programs running in the background and it drains even though i dont really use it.

My question is, is there a difference in the batteries from the 8GB version and the 16GB version? or is my battery on its way out?

Any ideas? should i be looking for a new battery? How good are the 3rd party batteries from eBay?

Thanks in advance

The phone hasn't sorted its battery stats out as they were wiped during the replacement (you probably now have a reconditioned phone). If you give it a few cycles (a week should sort it) it should return to normal.
