My girlfriend was using my new Galaxy S as her phone was pants and falling to bits but went and dropped it from less than a meter in height. This caused the phone to not display anything on the screen even though it still looked as good as new. It then started to heat up to the point were you couldn't touch it when it was on charge. I thought that I had just chucked £350 down the drain but then I came across this company called Phoneland Ltd based in Bicester who said that they would repair the phone for free 
There must be a catch so I called them and decided to risk sending my phone off to them by special delivery yesterday.
I've just had a call from them today to say that the phone has been fixed and that they've carried out just over £120 worth of repairs on it. It's now being shipped back to me by special delivery and I'll have it back tomorrow
In total it's cost me £11 in postage to have my phone fixed and that's it! I didn't think excellent customer service existed anymore but how glad am I that it does
