Galaxy S3 (i9305) screen replacement

Hi,

I've just been out running and the phone has come flying out of its sports strap that was around my arm.

It's taken a knock on the bottom right hand corner, and as a result it's cracked the actual LCD and only slightly damaged the glass.

How much are we talking for a replacement, and is it a do it yourself job?

From what I've seen that's a pretty good price. You can do it yourself quite easily just look up Le55ons on YouTube, he has done the s3 screen replacement and his videos are the best you can get.

Just to point out, the eBay item includes the full metal frame which makes the job much easier

I've just found this site that quotes £119 for it to be collected and repaired.

I've also been reading that Carphonewarehouse are able to repair for a similar price. I'll enquire on Tuesday and see how much we're talking.
