Hi.

I hate JavaScript/jQuery or anything related so any help would be appreciated. I've set up Galleria to create a gallery from a set of images, with one of them being wrapped in a link tag. This works fine and I can link off to a website/video.

My problem is that I wanted to integrate this with Shadowbox, to load a Vimeo video. I've included all the relevant files but the link doesn't load in Shadowbox, just refreshes the whole page. :(

Any ideas?

Haha sorry.

Well I can't link to the actual site in development but I've put a test page up. It's pretty much just a standard install of Galleria and I want to integrate Shadowbox (or any alternative, Fancybox etc) for Vimeo videos.

There's two images in the gallery, the first one links off to Vimeo and the second one isn't linked to anything. If I disable Galleria, Shadowbox works perfectly, so there's some conflict between the two, but I'm not experienced enough to know how to solve it. :( I'm sure it's pretty trivial if you know what you're doing. :)

AFAIK ShadowBox doesn't rely on any underlying frameworks, before you try troubleshooting this, have you tryed using Fancybox or Lightbox?

Lightbox is based on the Scriptaculous library, so it might be worth going for Fancybox. Both FB and Galleria rely on jQuery so you're least likely to receive conflicts with those two.

Thanks for the reply.

When I downloaded Shadowbox, I choose the jQuery option on the download page. So I might go back and try it without any framework, see if that helps.

I've also tried to use Fancybox but I had the same problem. :(

Galleria is getting in the way of the link working as it should, but I have no idea how.

Does it do any URL-parsing? Sorry i've only used Galleria once, yonks ago, without installing and having a play I'm not much use :(
