Gallery 2 questions

Just two quick gallery2 questions,

First, can I hotlink the files I upload there to other places? So I don't have to naff around uploading everything twice?

Second, there must be a way, but I can't find it... How do you change the photos viewed per page to a figure greater than 9? :s

Hotlinking: Admin > Gallery > URL Rewrite > Hotlinking checkbox & Approved Referrers on the Setup tab.

PPP: Display > Themes > click a theme tab to see its row/column settings

I know Gallery very well know as one of the sites we host did 400,000 page impressions' worth of Gallery2 in half a day. That was fun

I had to install the URL_Rewrite module - it doesn't seem to work under apache, and the options you describe aren't available under PHP :<

Changing the rows // columns worked a treat, though

hotlinking with G2 is a PITA, have you got a .htaccess file?

with our install of g2, we had the hotlink protection enabled, with a watermark, it was all set correctly but hadnt added the lines to the htaccess file, which meant it wouldnt work
blimmin pain!

make sure that there is a blank file called .htaccess thats writeable in the root of the gallery, then disable the re-enable the hotlink module and test it

we gave up with ours and locked the server instead
