Hey guys,

I'm trying to get a game (Age of Empires 2!:)) to be displayed full-screen on my monitor. When I launch the game, it's being displayed in the centre of the screen, does anyone know how to 'stretch' it to full-screen?

The monitor is a widescreen, however there are no widescreen resolutions available in the game.

The GPU is an ATI HD3650 if it helps. I've had a look in the Catalyst Control Centre, but was unable to find such option. I know the Nvdia control panel has an option to stretch the display for nvidia cards.

First thought would be to check if there's an option in the monitor options to stretch the image across the screen?

What monitor are you using? You are bound to have problems as the game doesn't support widescreen but your monitor may have a fill option in it's menu.

Sorry, it's a laptop screen.

I can play the game stretched on my PC with a widescreen. However I have the option ticked in the nvidia control panel to stretch games that don't support the resolution.

I'm pretty sure the game used to run stretched before I installed W7 on the laptop.

If it's nvidia graphics, there's an option for scaling in the graphics control panel. Otherwise, you may be able to use the screens scaling by going into the BIOS and selecting it there. I can't remember about ATI, it might be in CCC.

Scaling options in CCC are in the desktops & displays tab, click your screen(bottom left) configure> scaling option is there;) Slide the bar to 0% or use gfx card scaling to fit screen

Hope that works for you, worth a try
