Is anyone else sick of constantly changing CD's to play games?
I'm wondering if there is a program which will allow you to insert your game discs and somehow record its presence and allow you to not have to keep sticking in the disc everytime you want to play?

For one it causes a huge mess on your desk lol..
Other than that its just annoying switching discs all the time...discs getting scratched and lost etc.

Anyone know of a program/solution out there?

I might be being lazy but I do like to play a lot of games but not each game in one time frame as such that I keep the same disc in until I have complleted said game. :D

Thanks!!

You need game no cd exe's. Illegal but it's up to you if you decide to use them.
Could be infected with trojan viruses etc.

Alcohol 120% used to be great for this. I bought it a couple of years ago.

However, better disc protections and games on DVD saw its effectiveness dwindle, to the point where on most new titles, it was useless.

Not sure if its caught up. have not used it for ages.

It's not illegal AFAIK, just that it's usually associated with games pirating. If you have a legit copy of the game it's perfectly fine to use no dvd patch.. I think! I use them for all my games unless the disks are absolutely necessary. I'm just sick of inserting disks all the time.

Actually, I think changing the game EXE constitutes altering the game code, which is a violation of most EULA's....but I could be wrong.

Daemon tools.

I don't think I'm allowed to say how to properly clone/dump your cd/dvd's on your hdd into image files though on these forums though :(.

Cracks are illegal, but tbh I couldn't care less personally, cd's & dvd's are so damn annoying.

Would people stop claiming cracks are illegal if you don't have anything to back your statement up? As far as I can tell (see a previous thread if you care) only the creation and distribution of cracks is possibly illegal in the UK. It's perfectly fine to use them.

Ironically, your not backing up your statement that they *are* legal...

Not at all. As I said, search for a previous thread on the matter if you so wish. I rarely post, it's not hard to find.
