Game Controlling Software?

I have a Saitek P2500 joypad. Its got the muts nuts features, 2 Analgue controls, 32 programmable buttons.
The software I got with it is good but not great. Is there any in depth software that will allow me to program my joypad to play FPS games like on a console game?

used older versons of this with a ps2 pad and it does the job.

argh the new versions need activating to let you save setups

As far as i can tell it's just saving profiles, but it's a MAJOR pain to reconfigure it for 5 mins every time you wanna play something different

O/T, but why on earth bring back a month old thread for that reply??? Been away and just read it????

Not having dig btw (difficult to tell peoples tone on *** web) just curious as to why you'd revive a thread to ay "yeah, he's mad!!"

date aside, to be fair he said more than that. perhaps not much, perhaps not very tactfully but i get the picture that he tried a joypad when he started playing fps games and then found it was not well suited to the gameplay. which is just backing up what nO}{8 said through his own experiance of such.
