Game crash to desktop with error message

When I play Battlefield bad company 2 online it often crashes to desktop but never does this with any other game ie crysis,mw2,w@w,mass effect 2 and so on. When I am back at desktop it says " your computers performance was low, do you want to turn off aero". Now this could be a problem with bc2 right? I dont think it happend before the patch (could be wrong thoe) is there anything I could check?

I also have all the latest dirvers and ive just done a fresh install of windows last week. Any help would be great. Thanks...
 
As your up to date with the latest patches/drivers, maybe try undoing any overclocks to your hardware (possible BF:BC2 doesn't like them for some reason) and see if it still does the same thing.
 
When I load BF2 it turns my windows scheme to basic. No crash mind. Perhaps try turning of aero then launching game and see what happens?
