Game crashes since adding 2 extra sticks

Got the PC in my sig and for Xmas I got 2 x 8Gb sticks of 3200 Hyper X, the exact same sticks I have in the PC already, taking me from 16Gb to 32Gb.
The issue I have is that both COD Warzone and Black Ops crash with "Dev Error" or another error, sometimes after 1 round, sometimes more.

I've upped the voltage from the 1.35v it was before to 1.4 and 1.45v and still the same issue.
Do we think it's maybe faulty RAM or perhaps that I need to lower the clocks to 3000Mhz instead of 3200Mhz? I know very little about RAM, it's always confused me!

The crashes have only started since I got the new RAM, and when I take 2 sticks out the problem goes away.

Have you tried the new 2 x 8gb by itself and does it cause the same error ?

Download Memtest you can check the ram for errors.

Does it happen in any other games ?

I'd downclock to 2933.

Running 4 sticks puts more strain on the internal memory controller on the cpu, it simply might be a case of your cpu cannot handle 4 sticks no matter what you do.

Download Memtestx86 and create a bootable usb stick. Boot your pc to usb and test each stick of memory. That is the 1st logical step in this situation.

so you just added 2 sticks and booted straight into your os without even running a basic memory test?
