Yay just got my 360 package after months of contemplating I got:

Premium pack
TDU
GRAW
Extra wireless controller
Play and charge kit
Gold membership

Total : £433 :eek:

Was trying to get them to do me a deal, but apparently they're limited on how much they can reduce these days, something about needing the region managers approval. Pretty peeved about that to be honest, didn't really wanna spend anymore than 400. Oh well :(

Edit: I hate spending that much money, I need to lie down for a while

there are many many other places to buy from, I hardly shop at GAME, their discount points are a joke and their prices are pretty much RRP all the time.

Now you are just making him feel bad :D Good job mate. IMO Game have pretty good console deals. You won't regret it after the hours of fun it gives, I'm sure.

Most of us have spent more than this. It adds up fast. I tend to look at individual prices, as it makes me feel better ;)

P.S Shop around for additional games online, you can save a fortune.
 
Well I just sent a complaint through GAMEs website, lets see if they call my bluff (probably) :p

I would just like to complain about the lack of flexibility offered to your highstreet stores with regards to discounts.

I recently bought an Xbox360 premium package plus two games an extra wireless controller, a play and charge kit and xbox live gold membership for the total of 433 pounds!!!

I asked the store manager since I was buying everything in a package if I could get some sort of discount i.e. 5-10% on everything. His response was that he was limited by store policy and could only get further discount for me with the regional managers approval.

He did offer me however a 10% discount on the gold membership, totalling a whopping £4.

I really would expect more flexibility in this area and if I can find somewhere else in the next 10 days that can offer the same package for less I will consider taking the items back for a refund and take my business elsewhere.

Unless of course I receive somesort of offer (i.e. partial refund) of further discount on what I have already purchased.

Yeah its only money! plus just think of it as when you stay in playing on your new 360, just tally up what you'll save on spending your hard earned cash on beer! :D
