Hello,

Not sure if this is the right thread but desperately need help.

Weird question, but when I play games it like I have 0 time to react and get insta-killed yet on their POV it looks like they have ages to react. (CSGO2)

In games like Minecraft, I get hit from a distance and it doesn't even look like I'm being hit. Gaming is just impossible. I'm really not sure what it is.

PC Specs:
i7-6700k
RX580 8GB
16GB Ram
4x256GB SSD
Ethernet connection
1ms 100hz monitor

I don't think it is internet related since my ping in games always sits at 20ms.

You have an old setup. cs2 and minecraft are more cpu bound than gpu. So it's likely your cpu is bottlenecking your performance. This is probably causing latency issues in game that is higher latency than your ping. Your PC is trying to play catchup so you are getting a delay in game that you're not seeing until kill cam shows you. Also check your cpu and gpu temps while gaming for safety and report back :)

What res and monitor are you using?

Has this issue always been there or has this got worse over time?

Also, what OS are you running?

My friend has a similar setup and doesn't have my issue for some reason. In CS I always have 150-200fps aswell. My temps for my CPU sit around 70 while in CS, I'm unsure of my gpu temps.

Res is 1080p, monitor is a Lenovo G24E-20.

This has always been a problem when I used windows OS

My OS I use is windows 10. But one weird thing I found out was that while I was using Linux, this delay went away for the most part, but the lack of compatibility for streaming was what made me go back to win10. If I figured out a way to use OBS while using a gpu encoder I'd still be on it now.

Does it happen in any other games or is it on effecting CS2?

Every game. On Minecraft I get hit from a distance it doesn't even look like I'm being hit and when I try hit back I can't cause it's not in range. On Roblox sword fighting, it's the same again.
Do you have these issues when your just running the games and no OBS\recording\streaming going on in the background.

Have you checked if fast boot is disabled?

Are things like your GPU drivers and bios up to date?
