avoid like the plague...

ordered guild wars nightfall at 9:30am
recieve a confimation email with a download link

are they extracting the urine? i check my bank and the money cleared straight away... where the hell does it take 4+ hours and still no CDkey?

i could have just gone to one of those cdkey selling sites ive used in the past and recieved a phonecall 5minutes later and then a key a further few minutes after...

worst digital download service i have ever seen! i dont think there are any other digital download places that wont give you the purchase immediately! what a joke i hope the retail chains die a horrible death because its obvious they are still living in the bloody 90's

Xfire did this when i bought STO, haven't purchased another game from Xfire since.

Never had any problems with game digital downloads :S Always get my key instantly

for real? cos on google loads of people have the same crap as me :mad:

ive bought loads of stuff from the GAME main site aswell but they use seperate logins and stuff..

i ordered the rest of the guild wars games from the main site cos its cheaper and just wanted one to play now while i have nothing to do... it wont suprise me if the real physical copies turn up before this stupid cdkey does :rolleyes:

You would trust your card details with a cdkey selling site? There have been identical threads to this in the past. The solution suggested was indeed to use the cdkey sellers but to pay wit paypal. Me? Icnba'd with Paypal.

I got stung by them once, bought something 9pm Friday night, got the key MONDAY morning.

And yet they have the nerve to moan about steamworks and threaten to boycott games that feature it
