For all those interested, GAME have joined up with Xbox 360 and Eurogamer to create the usual Fantasy Football online game.

I've created an OcUK mini league for those interested in joining.

Once you have made your team goto League and then select the mini league option on the left hand side of the screen.

League name: OcUK
Password: overclockers

Some decent prizes if you can pick a good point scoring team.

My hopes:
Roberto Carlos scores goals x lots.
Japan keep a clean sheet now and then.
Gerrard fires some in.
Ronaldinho gets a load from "Midfield" :p.
Zlatan and adebyor should be fairly solid I reckon for their price.
My midfield has a couple of unknowns but their descriptions sounded promising and they were cheap.
Togo lose two and draw one to minimize the losses.



If 2 more players join the OCUK league, zico might get a footbal.



Reckon I should swap Ash for Eboue, then use the extra 3 points to up the manager and 2.0 defender? :p


Zico: Liking your setup.. poor defense then the best in the world midfield and stikers :p

My brother picked my team :) (though he seems to have picked a few different people for his team).

Didn't know about the ball, but if it comes then woo. **Edit** Just re-read it now (was half asleep when I set it up yesterday) and it's first 500 mini leagues.

rmuir have you added yourself to the mini league?? There is an option on the left side of the login to add yourself to mini leagues. Use the above details to get into the OcUK league.

If you have created a team within the last 2 hours you may not be shown in the above list. If you created your team more than 2 hours ago and are still not listed then please check the first post to make sure that you have entered the mini league.

**Reminder**
Remember to check you have a manager for your teams :D. Managers also cost units so make sure you have some left. Managers will also score points during the game, checkout the rules here.

Changes can be made to your team up until 17.00 BST on 8th June 2006. After this date you have to wait until the transfers are available.

We have to catch the Didi United league guys, they have stormed away with 192 members.

To those who have teams already - are you happy with your team selection? I've found that I've changed a few players after the recent WC warm-up matches. We've only got a few more days left to be able to chop and change players. :)

Well seing as I didn't pick my own team at the start, I better consult my brother tonight to see if my team is still ok.

Had a quick look at work earlier and it showed all teams (that was from clicking on OcUK from the League of leagues).

No problem with you dad joining, the more the merrier!.

Good luck to everybody in the league and in the game as a whole. Perhaps we can arrange a small prize to the winner of our league (though if the winner of our league is a major prize winner then the next team down would be considered).
 
I'm going to smack my brother. He picked my team and put in the Costa Rica manager Alexandre Guimaraes, defender Michael Umana and German keeper Jens Lehmann.

I stand to loose loads of points if Costa Rica loose and more due to Lehmann's poor keeping :( .
 
I think the idea I made ages ago about a small prize for the top team is kind of redundant now.

Perhaps a small prize drawn randomly from all the teams listed is a better idea. No need to have bothered with the full game other than to gloat if you are the points winner :D.

Remember that mini league that had 200+ teams, well it's nowhere to be seen on the league of league table. In fact mini-leagues with around 15 teams are common in the top of the table.
