Game For LAN.. Destruction Derby Style...

Righto.. theres a LAN i go to fairly often, and Flatout is great fun at the LAN, but its 6 or 8 (one of the two) players maximum per race :/

What im looking for is something in the mould of Destruction Derby, 20ish people, one big race... chaos all the way

I thought Destruction Derby had a reasonably recent update, but apparantly DD2 is the most recent :S ...

Any ideas ? Obviously must be LAN compatable, and mulitplayer

Any other suggestions ?

gt legends or gtr if you play that online you will see its mainly destruction, probably good fun in a lan

Yeah, these seem realyl popular at LANs as we've had a fair few requests for it at our upcoming one. The new MicroMachines might be suitable too

Yeah I got Flatout 1 for a fiver in the highstreet a few weeks ago, best cheap game I've ever purchased and am seriously looking forward to playing it on lan.
You gotta give it a go

i played Flatout 1 at a LAN as well. Great fun, its more fun trying to make other players lose than trying to win

Multi theft auto San andreas, has a race mod which u can drive round a circuit and bash each other up.

flatout1 is ok, but if racing its a bit boring, as some have played it and it is never a competitive race
crashday turned out pants-ish

look forward to testing out flatout2 at the next lan.
