So FPS but realistic?

BF2, Arma 2, Operation Flashpoint... All pc games though.

BC2 is better than CoD to me. Seems to feel a little more realistic as mavity affects bullet trajectory but you'll all ways get scenes where it feels you got hard done by a magic bullet.

BC2 is as good as it gets on console imo (im dismissing dragon rising because its rubbish)

Hi,
Anyone know of a good online xbox game that is similar to call of duty, but where people actually die when they get shot. and where a knife has a shorter range than a gun.
getting quite bored of all the games that are out right now, it makes me think our army should carry sticks as they're more powerfull than a gun.

get yourself a PC and play Arma II.

I used to love reality mod for BF2, when you drift away from it and play 'the next game everyone plays' it's such a pain getting yourself uptodate again though lol

Only played them on PC, so no idea what console versions like.

Ghost Recon & Rainbow Six are pretty decent for a more realistic approach. They rely more on tactics and strategy rather than going rambo.

CoD is the console game where people die fastest to be honest.

CoD is where everything happens quickly though, doesn't make it remotely realistic.

Bad Company 2 is definitely worth a look, it's a fantastic game.
