Hi, Not clued up on all the live streaming these days and I have a specific need that seems to be quite niche and hard to find software for.

My partner is disabled as is our son but he is at the age we are letting him play roblox and fortnite but he loves nothing more than for his mum to watch but she is often stuck in bed so we are looking for some sofrware that can stream his games and he can use his mic to say what hes doing and his mum can watch on the TV.

I do not want it to be live to the world to find though so that discounted twitch streaming. We have an nvidia shield that can be used for youtube and apps etc. I was thinking youtube live stream and unlisted but not sure that will work as it takes 24 hours to activate for me to test it.

Any other software that does it? Was thinking maybe private discord room and stream via that but surely someone has made some local software that can stream to devices without having to send it to the internet first?

His pc is not amazing but does what he needs it has a GT1030 in it at the moment.

If it's only in the house you could look at the Steam Link. It's discontinued as a physical device but I believe still exists in software form. It essentially allows you to stream from your PC to any HDMI monitor or screen.

Take a look at Airparrot, I think it should do what you're after. I used to use it for *cough* streaming football streams to the TV, and I think it should do what you're after.

Airparrot seems like it could work nicely will give this a try thank you. The irony is not lost on me that I used to have about 3 steamlinks and sold them all haha
