Game Maker version 7.0

Hi All,

We use Game Maker version 7.0. But none of the users are able to run the games. It is saying failed to run the game. I have got software restrictions turned on but allowed all the paths that are needed.

Can anyone help

Who are the users? Beta testers? People with computer backgrounds? Regular users? What systems are they running?

Well, it is unlikely as you haven't really asked any questions, or given any information. I could say "hi, I've written some software, I some people downloaded it but couldn't use it, can anyone help?" Its like trying to use a vacuum cleaner to extract a molecule from a swimming pool - confusing and ultimately futile.

Nothing personal Mr Rolleyes, but I at least try to help as many people as I can in these forums. And despite sounding sarcastic, I was actually trying to help this guy.

Its been two days since he posted and it was about to drop from the front page, without even a single reply. All I did was highlight why any *normal* developer wouldn't really have any way to help someone who provided so little info.

I am sorry if I came across as sarcastic, but it *is* really naive to come onto forums, ask for help without actually providing any information, and wondering why no-one replies. I probably could have picked a better way of replying, but at least I *did*, I didn't see anyone else helping him.

You on the other hand, still haven't helped him, but have simply antagonised me.
