Just saw this on Steam

Hrm, what does everyone think? This sounds right up my street but I'm not convinced that it'll be up to Skyrim standards. The fact that they've worked with GRRM makes you hope that he'd not let them release any old rubbish but who knows.

Has anyone seen any reviews?
 
Almost as disappointing to find that the tv series have not fully followed the 2nd book. Daenaris should be walking around Qarth with one bare breast as per the tradition of Qarth.

i know man! first thing i said.

the first game that came out to coincide with series 1, the RTS, terrible. same company are making this one and i don't have high hopes at all. i'll wait for a major company to pick it up and make a proper one....unfortunately that will probably be EA. they will make it good, but i'll have to die inside a little knowing that.
 
I wouldn't write this off just yet, having seen a few of the promo videos for it I think it could be fun but erm I'm also thinking it's Dragon Age 2 with a linear story.

I'm not hugely bothered about graphics, they look average.
 
If the series is anything to go by you'd think this will be an amazing game, however in the trailer I'm just not seeing it at all.
 
What you're seeing is a trailer, wait for a review and judge for yourself, clearly don't let the reviewer do it for you - I'd never have bought Dragon Age 2 if I'd gone with my gut instead of what the reviewer was spouting :(
 
it doesn't look that bad, but I doubt it's a day one purchase for most.

Now, if only they used the Game of Thrones licence to make an MMo :eek:
