Game Pass core/Game pass not working as it did before?

Total confusion on my part.

I've got two boys playing Xbox, one has One S the other a One X. Both have their own separate accounts, but we've both been able to run one off the back of another so to speak in terms of multiplayer for years. I am paying £26.99 every 3 months and £50 annually for the privilege. So the last couple of days one of my boys hasn't been able to play hardly anything. There is the triangle warning icon on every game installed saying he doesn't have a license. What's changed? My other sons account is working perfectly. The Game Pass core and every other sub he has is running.

Which one had Gamepass or Xbox Live before it expired? My guess here is a change of 'home' xbox is needed.

Haven't heard that these can't be shared still.
 
Well, it is working as before today. I haven't done anything. My son switched it on to try, and the games were available once again.

The home account has the subs. I was wondering if it was a cunning ploy to make MS more money... We will see.

Perhaps a network error or delay due to resub? Hopefully you don't have anymore issues :).
 
Thanks both of you for the replies.

I did try logging out. I tried restarting etc. I even looked at the account on a pc. It was like it for a couple of days. Very odd!
