What are your game annoyances. I'm referring in general, not to any specific game.

Having spent far too much of my time over the years of playing PC and console games, here are mine: -

Unable to skip credit screens:
Whats the point? I've already brought the game. It doens't matter how hard i press the Esc key, i've still gotta watch the develop/production logos.

Unable to skip cutscenes
It's more annoying when it's a long story telling one that i've already seen x times because i kept getting killed.

Profiles
Okay I can see the point, but why assume that every time i launch the game I want to start a new one. or create a new profile. Why is it so difficult to have the default selected item 'resume'

Games that require that you have the cd in it to run. It does very little to prevent piracy and is just an inconvienience if all the files are already on my HDD.

Aside from all the above, I dislike games that create profiles that clog up my documents, I don't know why but I really don't like game folders being with my work and stuff, it just doesn't fit.

I also dislike complete console ports (read: pes4) where controls are still shown as a playstation controller or stupidities like that. ah well, can't win everything. :)

Not being able to pause cutscenes !

Limited gfx settings !

Not being able to save a game when you want  !

I agree with this. I don't see why there isn't a 'My Games' folder that all save games go into. I've got loads of folders from games that have long since been removed, and it looks untidy

i actually like it when games saves are in my documents. means i don't have to worry about backing them up when it comes to formatting as "my documents" is on another drive anyway.
