Just after upgrading to a GTX 460 and am having major issues with games. the cursor is all messed up. It just stays still on the screen but if i move the mouse around it will highlight things

The odd games works after right clicking on the .exe file and ticking disable dispay scaling

Its as if the game is 1900 x 1080 but the mouse thinks its a 4x3 resolution because it stops short of the widescreen aswell

Games that have the problem so far are Supreme commander 2, Battlefield BC2 and Crysis

I never had this problem with my 9800GT

Any suggestions before i do a complete reinstall of windws 7

I have the latest drivers from Nvidia

Cheers in advance

Got impatient and ran a reinstall of windows 7 last night :)

It made a hell of a difference. Every game works flawlessly and no mouse problems.

Whatever was causing it was reducing the performance by about 50% id say

It might have been the fact that when i first put the card in windows auto downloaded the drivers. even though i installed latest Nvidia over it, it may have caused the issue

I used a different HDD this time so maybe that had an affect. Not sure

Anyway it feels nice to play anygame on full graphics with no slowdown now. Real nice :)

Thoughts....Does this driver cleaner do a better job than the recent option Nvidia has of uninstalling old drivers etc first b4 the update? Never really had a prob with card upgrades (nvidia-nvidia) but usually just uninstalled drivers....swap cards..then updated drivers.

Finally got to the root of the problem and thought id update you folks

It turns out its a glitch with Drivers

If you go to the resolution screen and change your fonts and icons to more than 100% it makes the mouse disappear on a lot of games. This is a nightmare for me as i have a 47" screen and 100% font size is unbelievably small. I have to set it to 150% just to read anything

So it has to be set at 100% basically on this screen to see the cursor
