My systems showing it's age now, but i am currently unable to upgrade it and so was wonder if anyone has any game recomendation that my system could cope with. The specs are

AMD 64 3200
ATi 1950pro
1 GB Ram
Windows XP

I already have Half Life 2 (but not the episodes) and Far Cry plus numerous other older FPS.

What kind of games are you into?

Mainly FPS, or do you also like things like TPS (third-person shooter) and strategy games as well?

I mainly play FPS on my PC but also like real time strategy games like Age of Empires and more nerdy strategy games like Hearts of Iron 2.

I'd strongly recommend Civilization 4 then if you don't have it. :)

Don't just go for the basic CIV IV - get a pack that has the two expansions. Once you start playing the second expansion "Beyond the Sword" you probably won't play the other two.

Be careful with patching.

Introversion Anthology which is a bundle of their three games might be a good choice if you like more offbeat real time strategy. Available on Steam for a bargain price.

To be totally honest I still play vanilla Civ4 quite a lot even after buying Beyond The Sword. *Runs.*

Thanks for the suggestions and have now order the Orange box and railway tycoon 3.

Was also thinking about Stalker but i think that will need to wait for an upgrade to my system and Age of Empires 3 plus Armed Assult as i used to like Operation Fashpoint, have however heard Armed Assult is rather buggy.
