Game recommendations

Hi,

Can anyone recommend a kid (6.5) friendly game similar to kerbal space program; my son wants to play it on his Xbox but the controls are terrible.

He has access to an Xbox series s and switch, have the usual Minecraft etc, he wants to build spaceships.

i have played this on the PC a long time ago and remember sinking a lot of time in it, probably improved a lot as well. Coming to Gamepass tomorrow as well. As far as I remember if still correct it can be played solo as well
