Game Recording Software?

Hey guys, just needing a hand on what software to use for recording PC gameplay?

I've already checked out Fraps and I don't like it, the file sizes are HUGE for such little time of recording, I was thinking of doing a YouTube channel so 1gb maximum video's D: if anyone has any advice lemme know?

Play Claw and OBS never worked for me, not compatible with Windows 8 I think

MSI Afterburner had huge file sizes also, so I don't really wanna use it, thanks anyway

From this information, I went and bought Dxtory, can anyone reccomend good settings for it? Also programs to compress the video with none to very small quality drops? Thanks guys!
