As above, used yo use nvidia shadowplay but have now moved to amd and have relive, my issue is the files seem huge once recorded. i have also used obs and plays.tv

I liked plays as it had its own video editor built into it and was quite a nice bit of software. is there anything else on the market possibly open source and free that can be use to record games?

cheers

Interesting timing... Plays.tv has just told me they're shutting down on 15th December. Maybe I'll buy Action by Mirillis on Steam?

Mind you, what are the 'built in' options like? I have a Nvidia RTX 2070.

Use Shadowplay if you have a Nvidia GPU. Its free.

So it looks like Shadowplay is run through GeForce Experience, but a couple of guides I've looked at show Shadowplay tabs and such, where as in my GeForce Experience Shadowplay isn't mentioned anywhere, it's just called 'In-game overlay'? Is this correct? I also don't see an option to always record game footage, which would probably be a deal breaker for me. Is there an option for this?
