A little bit of mundane question, but hey it could be interesting :p

Started playing command and conquer earlier and when I saved my game I came to realise, I always use the same saved game title. My name.

Is there any sort of logic to your save game names? Or do you literally type anything? I know a guy who used to save the game under the day + month, Which i suppose was more helpful than just saving it under my first name especially on games such as diablo.

For the record, I'm good for saving games under Moose aswell, No idea why.. Random save name from many moons ago :D

haha, so there are idiosyncrasies at play. I've always called mine my name, because I shared a PC with my brother. And I think it just stuck, as its all I call them now.

I enjoy giving them random funny names like Chonkwaffle or something, so i ever forget about it and replay it, i have a little chuckle to myself.

SOMETIMES I describe the situation ie "easy soviet mission 2" or something like that

99% of the time I use my name.

Early in games they start off as just "Save 1, Save 2, Save 3" etc

As I progress and get to a difficult area they tend more towards "Save ASOkdhfgd"

If I get past said difficult area they become "**** yeah 1"

I used to choose random words and just title it. My Fallout 3 save list used to look sort of like this.

Photograph
Hex
Leap
Interest
Cells
Men
Spaghetti
Everywhere

Usually a vague description of what I am doing in that save, lots of FM ones with the team plus what the aim sort of is.

Civ tends to be what I am going to do instead of playing another turn....

For PRGS is usually <Name - Difficulty - PlayTrougLetter - SaveNumber>

Jack Normal A 1

I usually use 3 save slots per playthrough incase of glitches or things where i need to reload a previous
