Right, my Mrs is an ardent Games Supervisor. She absolutely loves watching people play the Xbox but hates playing herself. Now, in an effort to obtain the miraculous positive equity of "Brownie Points" I'm trying to get some games that she could really help out with.

She much prefers the puzzle/riddle aspect of games, for example; she really enjoyed the Riddler Clues in Batman. So, the FPS section kept me happy and the puzzles kepy her happy, nirvana!

I'm currently in the dog house over New Years Eve, so hopefully I can make some purchases that'll get me out of the mess of my own making!

Has anyone got any suggestions?

Better suggestion would be to get her some flowers and choccy? I know that's what my wife would prefer ;]

I get told to play so she can join in and help, however, Batman has ran it's course and she's asked me to find other games we can play.

I realise some guys might not have a gamer chick, however, I've been blessed.

Resident Evil 5 is co-op, that's pretty much a puzzle/riddle game, or Lego Star Wars...

Get her into some classic co-op games, like Gears of War, and the two mentioned above.

I reckon any of these would be cool
Portal
Zuma
Monkey Island
Puzzle Quest

alternatively, get her a Nintendo DS, that thing has a stack load of puzzle games

[edit]
oh, and "A Kingdom for Keflings" is half price this week on XBLA

Monkey Island/Grim Fandango = Classics.

My girlfriend loves The Sims & Sim City and shes definitely into puzzle based stuff as well.

My wife has only finished 2 games this generation: Oblivion and Fable 2.
That being said she has dabbled with Braid, Castle Crashers, Peggle, Magic The Gathering and she has recently made some very positive comments about Brutal Legend.

This is leaving out the more casual Lips which we play almost every week, DDR2 which comes out less and less frequently and a lot of Rock Band: Beatles which we sold yesterday.

My wife has just completed Mini Ninja,s,mind apart from one or two toughish parts,it quite easy to play.
How easy, well my 3 years, and 4 month old grandson plays it on my ps3,so maybe too simple if your good lady likes a challenge.

How about Tomb Raider Underworld?

It's quite short and some solving of puzzles etc without it being way too hard that makes you give up. And its not much shooting :) So I guess that's one that she could end up playing all by herself maybe.

Im also one of the blessed ones, my misses watched me play Batman AA last night for over 3 hours and moaned when i turned it off at midnight to go to bed as i had to be up for work.

she also doesnt mind playing herself - although she's playing through on easy... she also finds unlocking PS3 trophys ace.

as mentioned monkey island is a must have game (i had to get it on pc as i only have a PS3)
Silent Hill:Homecoming - ive not played it so i dont know how good it is but they used to be a great puzzle action mix.
Condemned - i had it on release before i got rid of my xbox and im sure it had some basic puzzles in it???
and i dont know but if your misses is into older games there is the sega megadrive ultimate collection full of retro games

as for games you can play together, my misses loves beating me on tekken 6... im crap at it as i spend most of my time on Batman, MW2 or uncharted 2 at the min.
