Game Send Cpu Loopy

Well ive been playing on Champ Man 01/02 a bit latley not a big game at all and does hog the graphics but when its running my CPU usage is at 100% and is making my toolbars go black? Any ideas??

It's a stupid bug with this game, and in fact many versions of Championship manager including CM4 and CM03/04. I think it was fixed as of a patch for FM2005.

Best thing to do is buy FM2006, failing that what I used to do was assign the process below normal priority in task manager, so that it wouldn't interfere with background apps like windows explorer, IE, winamp etc.
