Went to game station today to get rid of a few old games. I was told they were only worth 8quid but because of a current promo if you trade any 2 games you get a minimum of £16.50
Just a heads up incase annybody has a bunch of old games they want to get rid of.
 
What? There's epic rip offs to be had here (on our part), can't see this deal staying on very long?

You could just buy two copies of an old football game from the same store and actually gain money by doing so...
 
It is a good deal no doubt. My gf traded in 6 old wii games at the weekend, got Jack & Daxter HD, and put the rest towards SSX this week. Like you say, can't see it lasting long though.
 
im going back tomorrow with a bunch of old games and im gonna ask about the T&Cs as surely there has to be some.so ill let you know if i find anything out.
 
Thats FIFA 09 and 10 going then. Someone confirm before I make the trip :p. Wonder if it includes PS2 games?

On the website the offer is you get an extra £5 for every 2 games you trade in.

"Offer only applies to Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, DS, and 3DS games. The standard trade-in value and an additional £5 will be given at the time of transaction for every 2 games that are traded in. Games traded in must have a preowned in-store value of at least £2.99."

Not sure if this is the same offer as in the OP but might help someone. Would link direct to the site but probably not allowed and I've posted the gist. :)

I presume you have to redeem the value against something at the time?? Dont really know how it works.
 
Just called my local Gamestation and they said that what the OP said simply isn't true.
The actual offer is if you trade any two games in (that are worth £2.99 or more) you get an extra £5 - which stacks with each two games so trade in 4 and you get £10 extra and so on.
 
i just said what i was told by the guy who served me so maybe he got it wrong. he told me the games would be worth £8 but because of a promo they are doing where u can trade any 2 games he gave me £16.50 instead of £8
