So I currently have a pretty beasting gaming rig and would now like a PC that will be dedicated to streaming my game play.

Would anyone be able to spec me a PC that will be up to the task.

Cheaper the better,
All I need is a tower as I have the rest
Must be able to stream at 1080p

I'm wanting to build another rig to stream the gameplay from my main rig.

So that the main rig is only for playing the games and the 2nd rig is dedicated to streaming the main rigs gameplay.

I mis-read what you meant, sorry.

Again it's pointless, just use OBS to stream your gameplay, having a second PC won't gain you anything and just costs more money. :)
 
Reaper is right for the money it'll cost its pretty pointless. As your current PC (if it is beastly) should handle that easily, even when gaming.
 
I somewhat agree with what has been said. but....

If you notice the top you tubs and twitch ect streamers, they generally have a second pc just for streaming. in fact if you look at there setups they always have 2 pcs.
(but you will notice only the pro streamers do this) they use dedicated hardware streamer cards ect.

But just to stream to show your mates its not needed I do not think.

My Main PC will be used for the time being, but I am more than happy to build a 2nd pc purely to stream my content etc.

If you're determined to do it then well we're not going to stop you. :)
Going from 1 PC streaming to 2 PC's streaming, you'll notice no difference. (Also seems a lot more complicated to setup?)

What is your budget you're willing to spend?
 
Think there is a little confusion here :-).

I only want 1 PC to do the streaming,
I want to build a PC that is dedicated to streaming my main rig's footage
But until then I will use my Main rig for streaming.

Not sure on budget as i'm just getting price / parts idea's.

I understand, I meant a total of 1 PC compared to a total of 2 PC's.

All you need is a machine that can take a data stream and then upload it.
All depends on what you're happy on spending to achieve this, a small £200-250 rig will probably do.
