I have a Raspberry PI, laptop, etc - from what I know if I ran nVidia GFX in my main rig I could stream games around the house? Do AMD have an alternative? Will in-house streaming (Steam) work with AMD?

If not I might get an nVidia card in my sisters rig.

I was hoping to trying Limelight Pi out, to see if I can run games from my PC using a Pi. Since I don't have Steam atm (account needs reset) can I just install, make acc and play with streaming? Using free games?

Limelight is an open source implementation of NVIDIA's GameStream, as used by the NVIDIA Shield, but built for Linux/OS X/Windows.

Limelight-pc allows you to stream your full collection of Steam games from your powerful desktop to another PC or laptop running Linux/OS X/Windows.

Limelight also has an Android implementation. Versions for iOS and Windows Phone are currently in developmen

Is there a guide on how to setup a pi to do this? Which OS and step by step? I'm a complete noob with pi. I have an AMD card too.

How do you stream around the house using an Nvidia card? I have a 770 and I have to admit that this is news to me!

and is your best bet.
Is it? I thought Steam streaming is done with the CPU since it is only decoding video.

Steam, doesn't matter which gfx card you have, as long as the host can send the stream and the client can decode it.
