What's an ambidextrous fingertip design? It's a ball, balls aren't bias toward lefties or righties.

a lot of the casing designs are only usable by right/left handed people, usually right.

If you want an ambidextrous trackball - The Kensington Orbit trackball (this is what I am using at the moment, and I bet it isn't £150 either
