Gamecube gfx

First I will explain my set up.

I have my consoles going into a AV receiver (5.1 sound system) and then from the receiver to my LED TV (LG 37/5300LE). My TV is fairly new so I think this maybe the reason for the problem I am getting.

I set up my Gamecube because I managed to get myself a copy of Zelda the Twilight Princess from ebay and its looks that bad on my TV I just cant play it! I dont know if anyone on here would be able to post a picture of there running gamecube just so I can make sure its not just me being so used to HD gfx and that Gamecube always looked that bad? From what I remember, the gamecube looked good! sharp?

I just need to try and establish if the problem is my TV settings or that Gamecube always did look naff. I play old classics on my PS3, games like "Streets of Rage" and they look sharper than the cube!!

Im using the cables that came with the console, I just think it should be better.

If anyone could do a picture of what there cube looks like on there TV, it would be a big help

I know, it looks shocking. I cant even make out links face its just a blur!

Im sure this looked a lot better back in the day.....Resident evil remake, Metal Gear twin snakes, mario sunshine....my memory of these games are in good looking gfx not what im currently seeing

Thanks HeX, makes sense and I know that the image is being stretched but I have even put my picture in 4:3 and it looks plop.

I will get myself a nice sparkly lead for it, HeX....link me to the lead your using and I will buy it!

Thanks Dave, My cube does have the digital out socket and yes I would LOVE to get that lead but its not an option as its far to expensive!! I have just pulled the cube out and found that it is using the red/yellow/white lead so I guess the SCART lead would be a cheaper way to go to improve the dire look

Going off what others are saying then its going to have to be the official gamecube one I buy.
