Had to choose between this and Eurogamer. Ended up picking Eurogamer cause friends wanted to go there.
had a great day at gamefest today.
FYI
if you have pre orderd battlefield three. make sure you take your pre order reciept or your smartphones. that can go onto games website and show them you have preorderd it.
then you can get a set of these made for you.

A friend sent me a picture message earlier queuing for the Bethesda booth, will have to see how it went.
Well, just got home (M6 traffic headed north was a joke...lane discipline fail much?)
Was a top day. Didn't get to try everything I'd wanted, due to not wanting to queue for hours. I've already preordered BF3, F1 and Fifa, so wasn't too bothered about them. Ended up playing F1 2011 though, and it's made me want a wheel/pedal set!
Mostly spent the day watching presentations and milling about playing random things. I'm very impressed by the 3DS, having never used one before.
Overall, a top day. However, I was talking to one of the Game staff, and they said they'd sold around 12000 tickets for today. The weekend however is a sell out, 20000 tickets sold per day, so queues may well be massive!

Had the same conversation with a game staff member. And you yourself know how busy it was today. I didnt even get near the bethesda stand they where turning people away from joining the que lol.

I found it very disapointing, first and last time i go to a gaming event. The games being in enclosed areas where it was a 3hour wait to view i thought was just stupid especially when i had my 5 year old nephew and sister with me. I couldnt stand in a queue for 3 hours and ignore them the whole time. I was expecting maybe a celebrity guest but nope, hardly got to see any of the big games being played without peering through gaps in the walls. I dont understand the secrecy.
The GAME shop was tiny and had poor deals most of the game also appeared pre-owned. Nephew loved it though he managed to get onto a wii game and a ds also got himself onto a 360 game. Found most the other people to be rude shuving and pushing even knocked my nephew out the way. Looked to me that gamers had more patience than i realised but had no manners.
Anyway rant over, Betheseda for me put up the best welcoming than any other booth just wish i could have got in it!! The biggest line seemed to be at the NUTS magazine stand... no idea why.

Just got back, thought it was quite good but the organisation was a bit of a joke. Did they really expect people to queue for 2-3 hours for some of the games? There was no way you'd get around them all in time.
Personally i'd have happily paid double for the ticket to have half the people there. At least that way it'd be possible to get close to the MW3/BF3/Bethesda stands/demos.

Glad im not the only one disapointed. Halo : combat evolved only had 3 consoles... from what i could see from a crack in the wall, also only a few GOW3 consoles. Id also of paid double price least then it might of been worth the £8 parking!
