(gamegpu) Battlefield 1 Benchmarks

The thing with recoil ecte.. is it's very crude and very easy to setup macros to automatically stabilise the gun.
So it completely defeats the objective of skill, learning your weapons, muscle memory....
Any 12 year old noob downloads a macro for this gun and its firing absolutely arrow straight and 0 recaoil.

It just puts people who want to enjoy the game for its challenge at a disadvantage.

So i can see why increasingly FPS developers are going back to basics, complicating it with realistic and challenging mechanics just = two tear players, those that do and those that don't.

Bringing it back to basics brings it all back to par, just the good old fashioned obvious aim-bots to deal with.

Yup unfortunately so :( AFAIK, no way for DICE/EA detect those who use macros.

But... whilst there is skill to gunplay, map awareness + tactics are just as important to doing well.

Also, we have consoles to thank for the new system, after all, the old way was much harder for console players and those wee joy sticks of theirs where as the new system is much for friendly to get to grips with.

Bringing it back to basics brings it all back to par, just the good old fashioned obvious aim-bots to deal with.

Could be quite a big problem with bf 1 given how popular it is as well as the possibility that server admins might not be able to kick/ban people from servers...

I didnt pre-order but I did crumble on the weekend as I saw a lot of favourable reviews. I have only played half of the campaign so cant say anything about multiplayer yet. I am enjoying the single player a lot. Great graphics, great performance on my Fury Tri-X with ONLY 4GB of ram ;)

Too many people fixated with fastest frame rates and having to be seen with the fastest cards. I am a gamer and all I want is for a game to run well on MY card, so that I enjoy the game.

It's the games that matter at the end of the day.....I mean what do you really spend all that money on to do.....Game or Benchmark. :p

This is a benchmark thread...
So benchmark threads aren't supposed to be worried about framerates now? What are we benchmarking?

Anybody else getting blurred graphics/textures at distance? There's something wrong with the graphics for me, it's really flipping annoying.

What card? I'm using a 980Ti.

I'm going to force 16x Anistropic Filtering in teh nVidia control panel this evening and see if that resolves the issue.

Forcing x16 Anistropic Filtering solved this issue for me.

Very odd bug though.

look at the min CPU usage of DX12 compare to Dx11 on Fury X

Worst API ever created by MS.
Has nothing to do with it being a 'bad API'.
