Which of the current crop of 20+ lcd's are the best for gameing, i have a Viewsonic VA1912W 19" Widescreen which looks slightly washed out, no dead pixels or such and build quality is fine, but it lacks clarity of image.
Both the Belinea 2225S1W 22" Widescreen and the NEC MultiSync® LCD20WGX2 20.1" Widescreen have good reviews is the Nec worth the money just for gameing?
Have a Budget of £350 ish but would rather spend less :D but if the Nec is the daddy and will last me a fair time then i'll plump for that.
i game most evenings so this is the primary purpose.

many thanks for your help :)

Not sure about either of those two but I have two Dell 2007WFP's and I use mine for gaming all the time (especially with the 360 now) and its superb. I think you can get them for about £280 now aswell! I have played many pc games like CSS and COD and everything looks perfect.

<edit> I also think there appearance is better than both the others you mentioned too. However it could be me being biased.

Mate look around the prices have come down, presently you can get the 2407 from a reputable website for near on £500 which is amazing considering dell are selling it for £730

I have the NEC and although its a wee bit more expensive (well it was when I got mine 4 months ago) it is a fantastic monitor..!!

COD 2, BF2, CSS all look stunning, with all the eye candy turned on (X1900XT 512mb)!!

And the glossy screen make photos and DVD watching a dream..!!
