gamepad for my Nexus 7?

Basically what the title says. Are generic gamepads any good or are there one or two That are generally well supported by games? Are gamepads worth it for android games?

What gamepad would you recommend?

Do you have a PS3 already? or you could buy a PS3 dual shock controller, they work over blue tooth, I see its not actually much effort to set up just google them.
