Hey dudes need a gamepad reccomdations

i haven't got no games that require one yet but,

wouldnt mind getting some games like tekken & racing games.

if you can reccomend me some games that are good on pc that are really gamepad games that be cool to.

I use a wired xbox 360 pad. Many games for window work great with it.

I've used mine with TR Underworld, Fallout 3, bioshock and GTAIV. Much prefer playing those games on my big LCD TV rather than hunched over my PC Monitor ;)
 
yeh i have ps3 on my 40" samsung next to my PC but id rather have use pcs power & 24" 1200[p godness :D
 
The Xbox 360 pad is pretty much the standard now, especially for games with the "Games For Windows" label as it will always be supported on those. It is very simple to setup for other games too.

Other option which is what I have, is a PS2-to-USB joypad converter and as it is named, you can use either PS1/PS2 gamepads plus other peripherals if they are supported i.e. Guncons, Dancemats etc

And by the ways you will never see Tekken on the PC unless it is running on an Emulator.
 
XBOX 360 - software support is superb. Pretty much works with everything I can throw at it. The D-PAD isn't the best in the world but you'll mostly be using the analogue sticks anyway. The D-PAD though is still very functional.

For the price it really isn't worth going for anything else.

i basically want to only use my PS3 for Bluray Films so basically all the PS3 games that come to PC i want to play on better graphics settings :)

be it Lara,Grid,Wheelman, etc:)
 
I've found the 360 controller to be very good, tried the dual shock style ones but I don't like the anaolgue sticks.
